MN Trauma Project:
A Mission That Continues
MN Trauma Project formally dissolved at the end of 2025, and this website will remain available through the end of 2026.
Since its founding, the MN Trauma Project has worked to expand access to high-quality trauma-focused education and training for mental health professionals across Minnesota. Although our workshops and training programs concluded in 2020 with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the years since have brought an extraordinary expansion in the availability and accessibility of trauma-focused professional education.
Today, trauma-informed and trauma-focused training opportunities are more widely available than ever before, and communities throughout Minnesota benefit from a growing network of clinicians trained in effective approaches to trauma treatment. In many ways, the original mission of the MN Trauma Project has been realized.
While the organization itself has come to a close, the commitment to fostering healing, compassion, and connection continues. Our founder and board members remain dedicated to advancing trauma-informed care, strengthening communities, and cultivating systems that support well-being and belonging through the many different roles and communities in which we live and work.
We are grateful to everyone who participated in, supported, and contributed to the MN Trauma Project over the years. May we continue to discover our own pathways to thriving while helping others find their way toward healing, connection, and belonging.
